Sindh Minister for Health and Population Welfare Dr Azra Pechuho oversaw the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the provincial health department and Gerrys Visa to streamline vaccine administration at the latter's location(s).
The MoU will come into effect from June 28, 2021. The purpose of the agreement is to ease the process of traveling abroad and provide credible documentation of the travelers' vaccination. Gerrys Visa will be providing Pfizer or another vaccine recognised for international travel.
The vaccine will be provided by the Sindh Health Department. Other verifying documents and evidence will also be recorded, such as attested NIMS certificates.

There will also be live video recording of the process available for any auditing purposes. The beneficiaries include people students, business travelers, tourists and those traveling for religious reasons.
This MoU ensures that the vaccination facilities set up by Gerrys Visa, in collaboration with the Sindh Health Department, will be following all protocols and standards determined by NIMs. The vaccination centre will be accessible from 8:00 am to 10:00pm, seven days a week.
An AIEF (emergency room for any potential side effects) will also be available. In addition, an agreement between Gerrys and the Aman Foundation has ensured that an ambulance can reach the vaccination centre within seven minutes.
