A police constable in Bahawalnagar was thrashed by the area residents on Friday after they allegedly caught him secretly filming a woman in a bathroom.
The constable was himself filmed while doing the depraved act by a resident as he sneaked his arm through the vent while suspiciously looking around. He was then caught by the residents who went on to give him a beating.

In another video, the policeman can be heard saying that his backbone had been broken while area residents can be seen telling cops, who arrived at the scene shortly, to check his phone and see the secretly filmed video as proof of his crime.
Bahawalnagar’s SP Investigations Farooq Ahmad Anwar told The Express Tribune that the policeman in question has been suspended. An FIR has been registered against him at the Fort Abbass Police Station and an inquiry has also been initiated against him.

My first reaction was that justice shouldn t be served on the streets. Instead only through a court of law but it s so disappointing to see that people want to server justice on the spot because they have no faith that the system will do anything for them. Government needs to make justice visible. It needs to happen sooner rather than later.
