Judicial remand: Criminal handed over to the CID

KARACHI: An alleged criminal identified as Mazharuddin was handed over to the police Criminal Investigation Department till August 17 on Friday. Mazharuddin, also knows as Mota Pehlwan was arrested in a police encounter near the Mauripur area. He was presented before the Judicial Magistrate West Peer Syed Asadullah Shah Rashidi for possessing illegal weapons. The authorities seized a Kalashnikov and magazine rounds from him.
