Four people, including a toddler, were killed in separate incidents in the city on Sunday.
A tractor ran over a three-year-old girl outside her house in Baldia Town area. Rescue workers said Muhammad Akbar was parking his tractor outside his house when his daughter, Marwa, rushed out to play. The tractor hit the child as he reversed it and she died on the spot. The deceased was shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital and then handed over to the family after medico-legal formalities.
Separately, a man was killed when a heavy object fell over his head at a poultry farm in Surjani Town. The deceased, Aqeel, 35, was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
In another incident, Zahid, 55, was electrocuted at a shop in Lyari area. The deceased was shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities. Meanwhile, an unidentified body was retrieved from the sea under the Netive Jetty Bridge in Keamari area.
