Zardari demands crackdown on land grabbers

NAUDERO: President Asif Ali Zardari has demanded a report on state land grabbed by feudal lords and influential people in Sindh.

Chairing a meeting of Sindh Cabinet in Naudero House, the president directed an operation against all land grabbers in interior Sindh.

He directed that the land be freed from illegal occupants and be distributed among poor women farmers. The president also took note of the halt of development projects in Sindh and directed that they be completed immediately.

The meeting was attended by provincial ministers and officials from the Revenue Department and the National Highway Authority.

Dr. Adnan | 14 years ago | Reply Yeah what about well-connected illegal occupiers (Bahria Town) who have been occupying land illegally and threatening people because guess what I am also one of those who have been threatened by him and his league of people ... and my case is still running in LHC ... any crack down on him ?
