ACE launches probe into Hyderabad BISE
The Sindh Anti-Corruption Establishment has started to probe allegations of irregularities and nepotism pertaining to examination results against the Hyderabad Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE).
ACE has sought complete details of all exams of the secondary school certificate and higher secondary certificate conducted in the past five years.
ACE Deputy Director Ghazanfar Ali Qadri has deputed an assistant director to conduct the investigation into allegations of bribes taken in exchange for handing out a better examination score. In a letter written to BISE, ACE has demanded answer sheets, detailed results of past years, lists of awards and the chairperson's approval for examination results.

Moreover, inquiry officers have recorded the statements of Acting Controller exams, Masroor Zai, Information Technology Manager Aijaz Ahmed and the board's secretariat branch's staff have been recorded.
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, an ACE official told The Express Tribune that the BISE's officials could not satisfy the investigators.
Zai also acknowledged that the record has been handed over to ACE.
BISE Hyderabad is responsible for conducting the board exams in nine districts of Hyderabad division.
