Pakistan is looking forward to further deepening trade and investment ties with the United States under the Biden administration, said Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin. Speaking to Charge d’ Affaires of the United States to Pakistan Angela P Aggeler on Wednesday, the minister said that Pakistan offered immense opportunities to US enterprises to invest in information technology, agriculture, energy and tourism. “Pakistan and the US enjoy a long-term, broad-based and multi-dimensional relationship,” he said. “Bilateral relations between the two countries strengthened further owing to people-to-people ties, economic and business linkages as well as common interests in promoting peace and stability in the region.”
