Rehman Malik appeals against LHC verdict
Interior Minister Rehman Malik has filed an appeal against the Lahore High Court verdict in the Supreme Court.
ISLAMABAD:
Interior Minister Rehman Malik has filed an appeal against the Lahore High Court (LHC) verdict in the Supreme Court (SC).
The LHC rejected Rehman Malik's appeal against his conviction by an accountability court.
The accountability court had convicted Rehman Malik for misuse of authority in 2004. It had sentenced three years of imprisonment for each of the two references in absentia.
