Lahore High Court’s Chief Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan directed CCPO Lahore on Wednesday to immediately pass on instructions to all SHOs of the province to register FIRs immediately on any complaints received against DHA.
The province's top judge was hearing a case wherein some petitioners claimed that DHA had occupied approximately 300 to 400 kanals of land which they had obtained on lease from Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB).
During the hearing, LHC top judge also directed DHA administrator Brigadier Waheed Gul Satti to appear before the court by April 29 along with the record of 50-kanal land of the Lahore High Court which the armed forces have occupied.
Justice Khan also summoned the commissioner and deputy commissioner by April 29.
The counsel representing DHA argued that the Supreme Court, during a suo moto proceeding, had decided on the matter in 2018 while the land was still in DHA's possession so how could ETPB award it on lease.

"I am directing to my registrar to write a letter to Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and disclose what the armed forces are doing here," the CJ Khan remarked.
During the proceedings, the judge asked DHA’s counsel regarding the administrator and directed him to appear in person before the court.
The CJ Khan also directed Lahore's Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) to appear before the court so he could pass him directions to register a case against the responsible.
