50 detained TLP activists moved to Jhelum jail

This leaves about 58 TLP men still in Adiyala jail

Of the leaders and activists of proscribed Tehreek-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) detained in Adiyala jail, 50 have been transferred to District Jhelum Jail under tight security.

This leaves about 58 TLP men still in Adiyala jail. According to sources, 176 leaders and activists were arrested during the TLP protests in Rawalpindi. Of these 58 persons were arrested under MPO and are still housed in Adyala central jail.

Thirteen cases have been registered under the Anti-Terrorism Act under sections of the kidnapping of policemen, damage to property, murder, and violation of Covid-19 SOPs against them.
