K-P adopts resolution on Sawara

PESHAWAR:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Assembly on Monday adopted three resolutions regarding the custom of Sawara, Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering Unit’s employees and implementation of Section Four for the acquisition of land for Manshera Airport.

A resolution was tabled in the house for legislation on Sawara which was passed. Another resolution was for the Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering Unit whose employees are working for five years on contract and need to be given permanent status.

In this regard Minister Shah Muhammad Wazir said that the matter was being discussed with the Chief Minister and they were trying to make them permanent.

Baber Saleem Swati tabled a resolution regarding the implementation of Section Four on the proposed land for Manshera Airport.

He said that Rs450 million had been allocated for the purpose in the past but the entire matter was going very slowly and Section Four should be imposed on the land once again. Both the resolutions were passed by the house.

The matter of Lahore clashes between members of the banned outfit and police was also discussed in the house.
