CPO distributes cash prizes among injured personnel

Police personnel were awarded appreciation certificates and cash prizes

RAWALPINDI:

Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) Ahsan Younas lauded 123 policemen injured during the violent protests in the garrison city last week.

In this regard, CPO chaired a meeting at Rawalpindi Police Lines Headquarters on Tuesday where the police personnel were awarded appreciation certificates and cash prizes.

Central Investigation Agency SP Tariq Mehboob, SDPOs, SHOs, and other officials also participated in the ceremony. While addressing the participants, Younas stated that the policemen performed their duties to protect the country without caring for their lives. He added that personnel's passion against anti-social elements was exemplary.

The CPO maintained that the Rawalpindi police is ready to protect the country and nation.
