Victim went to the suspect’s clinic for dental treatment

A woman who went to a clinic was allegedly sexually assaulted by the doctor. Police registered a case and started searching for the fugitive.

According to the police report, in the case filed by Muhammad Kaleem, son of Muhammad Botha and a resident of Chak No 214RB, Dhadiwala, it had been stated that Shahbaz, son of Saleem and two others set up a dental clinic at Iqbal Nagar.

The complainant’s wife went to the suspect Shahbaz’s clinic for dental treatment. The suspect allegedly took the complainant’s wife to the back room where he threatened the victim and raped her at gunpoint.

The victim made noise which caught the attention of nearby persons named Ashfaq Ali and Hasnain Anwar. After they reached the spot, the suspected rapist fled the crime scene. Saddar police registered a case against under Section 376 PPC and started raids for his arrest.

Meanwhile, a 15-year-old boy, the son of Jagde, and a 16-year-old boy, the son of Zafar Iqbal, allegedly raped a five-year-old girl in 614GB area of Saddar Tandlianwala. They took the minor victim to a field where they assaulted her and left her unconscious. Saddar Tandlianwala police launched raids to find the culprits.

Incidents of sexual violence against women and girls were rampant across the province.

On April 17, two minors including a policeman’s seven-year-old son and a girl who went to a village as a guest were molested in Dijkot.

According to a police report, a seven-year-old son of ASI Naseer Ahmed, a resident of 117 GB Dhanola area of Millat Town police station, was playing outside his house when accused Abid took him to his place and molested him.

Separately, an 18-year old girl who had gone to Maria Bibi’s house as a guest in village 393GB was allegedly raped by Rab Nawaz in the fields while going to harvest wheat.

Last month, a teenage girl and a minor boy were allegedly sexually assaulted in Khurrianwala.

According to the police report, Tehseen and his wife, residents of 120GB, Ghokhwal area of Millat Town, went to work in a local factory.

Meanwhile, their 16-year-old daughter was alone at home when the suspect identified as Asif Awan entered the house. He held the teenage girl at gunpoint and subjected her to sexual abuse. On February 18, a shopkeeper raped a five-year-old girl in Dijkot.

The five-year-old daughter of Abdul Rehman went to buy something from a shop when she was assaulted.

After being sexually assaulted, the condition of the girl deteriorated and she was shifted to Allied Hospital Faisalabad. On the same day, in Tariq Colony Razaabad, Abdullah’s 11-year-old brother was allegedly abducted by the suspect Abdullah and two others.

The suspects took the boy to the General Bus Stand where he was molested.

A week prior to this incident, a six-year-old boy was injured allegedly after the assailants’ attempt to rape him failed. Four people, including a police constable, injured the boy during the alleged molestation attempt.

The boy was shifted to a nearby hospital in a critical condition. On January 18, a minor girl was sexually assaulted in Dijkot. The 10-year-old girl was abducted and raped by a motorcyclist in the Razaabad area. He later threw the girl unconscious near Lasani Bridge.

The minor girl had left her home in the afternoon to buy vegetables. The motorcyclist lured her out of the way, abducted her and took her to an unknown location where he sexually assaulted her.
