ISLAMABAD:

In order to ensure prompt resolution of public complaints, especially during the holy month of Ramazan, Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat has deputed two Complaint Redressal Magistrates in the federal capital, a spokesperson said on Sunday.

These magistrates have been tasked to take actions on citizens’ complaints received through Social Media as well as other channels. Citizens can register their complaints using social media platforms, WhatsApp, official helpline and Islamabad City Mobile App, they added.

Besides multiple teams have been formed under assistant commissioners (ACs) to ensure regular monitoring of prices of fruits and vegetables across the capital as well as availability of the same to the citizens in accordance with daily price list issued by the Islamabad Capital Territory Authority.

Moreover, District Fine Collection mobile app has also been launched to assess the performance of all ACs and magistrates, the official maintained.

ACs and magistrates are required to enter all inspections related data on District Fine Collection App, he said, adding that the features of the app include location tracking, heat maps and price trends.
