Kubra Khan responds to reports of unfollowing PM Imran Khan

Starlet clarified she is an avid supporter of the premier

Pakistani celebrities have shown support to PM Imran Khan ever since he came into power. Many including Mehwish Hayat, Humayun Saeed, Reema Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi have voiced their admiration for the premier on multiple occasions. Despite this, a local media outlet on Monday highlighted that Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 actor Kubra Khan had unfollowed Imran Khan and fellow actor Hamza on Twitter.

The publication claimed in their article that the starlet had unfollowed PM Imran and Hamza due to their political stance and involvement.

However, Kubra begged to differ. Saddened by the manipulation and negative reporting, she tweeted, “I am and will always one of the biggest supporters of @ImranKhanPTI. I don’t need to follow him on ‘social media’ to show my support. But thanks for adding the negative connotation?”

Previously, the actor had used her public platform to urge followers to take necessary Covid-19 precautions. Taking to Instagram, the Alif star had talked about the notion of survival during the pandemic outbreak.
