To mark International Women's Day 2021 (IWD21), the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce on Monday held an event the theme of which was 'One Can Be Anyone'
The chief guest on the occasion was Senator Fozia Arshad who, while addressing the participants, said that the government was committed to ensuring a secure and enabling environment for women to play their due role in the country's growth and development.
“We struggle to provide equal opportunities and a platform for women to excel in their fields and policymaking,” she added.
Fauzia lauded the RCCI for holding "such a momentous event" and said that the Chamber's approach towards women empowerment can be beneficial for those who want to start their businesses.
Delivering his welcome speech, RCCI President RCCI Mohammad Nasir Mirza said that no nation can make progress without the progress of women.

"The RCCI has always welcomed women to participate in the Chamber's activities to bring change in businesses," he said, adding that it had also established an incubation centre for businesswomen to provide an equipped place for women to display their products and hold meetings to promote their businesses.
