PARIS: Norway’s world road race cycling champion Thor Hushovd will race for American team BMC next year after he signed a two-year contract with them. The 33-year-old two-time Tour de France green jersey winner is coming off an excellent Tour where riding for Garmin-Cervelo he wore the overall leader’s yellow jersey for seven days. “It’s a serious team where it looks like everything is well-organised,” he said.
