12-year-old sexually assaulted by tutor’s husband in Dijkot
A 12-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted in Dijkot, Faisalabad on Monday.
Reportedly, the boy had gone for tuition when he was molested by a man.
Police arrested the suspect and registered a case.
In the case filed by Abdul Farooq, a resident of Mohalla Khizrabad Batala Colony, it was stated that his 12-year-old son went to the house of Muzammil Bibi for tuition. The tutor’s husband identified as Sajid Farooq took the minor boy to a room and subjected him to sexual abuse.
After the victim made noise, the suspect tried to flee through the roof of the house but was apprehended.

Meanwhile, a 10-year-old girl thwarted the rape attempt by making noise. The victim, a daughter of Shazia Bibi and a resident of Sheikhupura Road, Gujjar Singhwala, was lured by 17-year-old Ghulam Khan, the son of Sarwar.
At the noise of the girl, the locals gathered on the spot, caught the alleged rapist and handed him over to the police.
Police registered separate cases under Sections 377-376-511 and locked them up.
Incidents of sexual violence against minors have been rampant across the province.
Last week, a six-year-old boy was injured allegedly after the assailants’ attempt to rape him failed. Four people, including a police constable, injured the boy during the alleged molestation attempt.
The boy was shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors said his condition was critical. A case was registered under sections 34, 506, 377B and 34 of the PPC and police started searching for the suspects.
Police said the boy was stopped by the constable deputed ain Muridwala and his accomplices Kashif, Shaukat and Amjad who tried to rape him.
On January 18, a minor girl was sexually assaulted in Dijkot. The 10-year-old girl was abducted and raped by a motorcyclist in the Razaabad area. He later threw the girl unconscious near Lasani Bridge.
On December 25, an 11-year-old hotel worker was sexually assaulted in Satiana Road, Jaranwala. The victim was molested by two other workers identified as Arshad and Zahoor.
On November 21 last year, a seven-year-old girl’s body was dumped after her rape in Baghbanpura. A day earlier, a case of gang rape of a minor was reported in the same area, where two suspects identified as Mubashir and Sheraz were booked.
On November 18 last year, a six- year-old boy was sexually assaulted by four persons after his abduction in Dholan-Motra village, Daska tehsil.
On November 11 last year, a 14-year-old boy was murdered after sexual assault in Shadbagh.
On September 26 last year, two minors were raped in separate incidents in Faisalabad.
On June 7 last year, the body of a seven-year-old boy was found by local residents. The victim was abducted and sexually assaulted. The body was reportedly thrown into a canal in Dijkot area.
In the first half of the past year, at least 1,489 children were subjected to sexual assault. In many cases, the humiliation of minor girls in front of their alleged rapists was also reported.
