Cotton crisis: Roundtable conference to be held on 15th

Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association Ijaz A Khokhar has invited textile industry associations for a roundtable conference to discuss the prevailing cotton crisis on August 15, he said in a statement on Wednesday.
He asked textile industry stakeholders to jointly chalk out strategy to deal with the cotton crisis. He also suggested that textile industry stakeholders should make efforts to generate demand for cotton to avoid a potential crisis ahead. He expressed fears that the ongoing global economic crisis would hit textile industry growth in Pakistan.
