Chrissy Teigen honours late baby on what would’ve been his due date
Chrissy Teigen is keeping her late son Jack close to her heart, and the star is commemorating him on what was supposed to be his birth day.
Last September, the Cravings author, in a heartbreaking social media post, announced that she and her husband John Legend had lost their third child.
"We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we've never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn't enough," Chrissy shared on Instagram at the time.
"We never decide on our babies' names until the last possible moment after they're born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us."
On February 20, Chrissy, who is also a mom to Luna, 4, and Miles, 2, took to her Instagram story to show how she is remembering baby Jack. Sharing a photo of a stack of bracelets with the names of her three children, the model wrote, "Today was your due date. We love you forever."
Chrissy had also mentioned Jack's due date earlier this month on Twitter, suggesting that this photo may be from her camera roll. She wrote, "My little jack would have been born this week so I'm a bit off. I truly feel kicks in my belly, but it's not phantom, I have surgery for endometriosis tomorrow...but the period feeling this month is exactly like baby kicks. Sigh."
Previously, Chrissy commemorated Jack in an Instagram post revealing that she had Jack's name tattooed on her wrist, which is perpendicular to her tattoo of "John Luna Miles."
