Minal Khan recently rose to fame with her hit drama serial Jalan. But Khan is not only known for her excellent performances as an actor but also her fashion sense.
In recent days, however, she has been the target of netizens who have been drawing comparisons between her and Bollywood actor, Alia Bhatt. In an Instagram post, Khan had donned a lime green lehenga designed by Lahore-based designer Waqas Shah. The flowy and traditional dress featured gota and mirror work followed by floral embroidery of the base colour. But that’s not it.
Bhatt had donned a very similar piece by the renowned Indian designer Sabyasachi to Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s wedding reception back in 2018. The Highway actor’s attire came with same base colour, including embroidery. Ever since the designer publicized Khan’s photos for his latest collection, many have dropped comments suggesting it’s a blatant copy of Sabyasachi’s work.
