12 more succumb to novel coronavirus

484 new cases were reported throughout the province in the last 24 hours

LAHORE:

The coronavirus pandemic claimed another 12 precious lives, whereas 484 new cases were reported throughout the province on Friday, as per official sources.

The total death toll of the province tipped to 4,994. According to the data shared by the spokesperson for the Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD), the number of coronavirus cases in the province escalated to 162,875 during the last 24 hours.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Punjab health department has claimed to have conducted over 3 million tests to ascertain Covid-19 infliction.
