KARACHI:

Karachi's Red Line BRT project will be using bio-methane made from cow dung to fuel more than 200 buses. The biomass fuel project is supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and can be harnessed to power vehicles on the roads of Pakistan's biggest city.

The Express Tribune's Fatima Sheikh sits down with Masood Alam Farooqui, an expert on renewable energy, to discuss sustainable transport and how exactly cow dung would help run the buses of the Karachi Breeze Red Line.
