Three factories sealed

Assistant Director of Environment Protection Department (EPD) Khanewal Sarfraz Anjum on Wednesday sealed three soap factories for causing pollution. The action was taken in response to a complaint on the citizen portal that stated the soap factories operating were causing smoke and contributing to smog. The EPD has also registered FIRs against the owners of the factories.
