Man found dead on footpath in Liaqatabad

LAHORE:

 A 25-year-old man was found dead on a footpath under suspicious circumstances in Lahore’s Liaqatabad on Friday.

According to details, a passer-by spotted the man lying unconscious on a footpath in Liaqatabad and informed the police. A police team reached the spot on information and shifted the man to the hospital where doctors pronounced him ‘brought dead’.

The corpse was then sent for an autopsy to confirm the cause of death. Initial police investigations suggest that the young man may have passed away due to drug overdose.
