KARACHI:

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led federal government has committed record corruption in half its tenure while the inflation bomb it has dropped on people has added to the miseries of the common man, said Pakistan Peoples Party stalwart Sharjeel Inam Memon on Monday.

Addressing a meeting of PPP leaders and workers at Rawal House in Tando Jam to review arrangements for the Pakistan Democratic Movement's public meeting slated for February 9, Memon censured federal ministers for their evasive responses on economic conditions.

"Federal ministers who have been blaming others have never fulfilled their responsibilities and they are avoiding talking about economic conditions. They [federal government] have made progress only in corruption and inflation," a statement issued by Memon's office quoted him as saying.

Censuring the PTI-led government in the Centre, Memon claimed that the prime minister and his cabinet do not care about the people of Sindh.
