AIOU uploads textbooks online

Univeristy will provide electronic copies of course books to students of BS, B.Ed and all postgraduate programmes

ISLAMABAD:

The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) in Islamabad is gradually switching to the automation of key university processes, the varsity said in a statement.

In this regard, the university has taken a principled decision of providing electronic copies of course books to the students enrolled in BS, B.Ed and all post graduate programmes from spring 2021 semester onwards.

The books of these programmes will be printed in limited numbers for AIOU central library as well as all AIOU regional offices for facilitation and convenience of students.

Moreover, books in printed form will be dispatched to the students of matriculation, intermediate, BA both old scheme and the newly introduced associate degree.
