Monsoon infection: New test for dengue diagnosis

KARACHI: A new test, called the IGA test has been introduced in hospitals to help diagnose dengue fever in only 48 hours, said Dr Tahir Shamsi, a blood disease speacialist. The government put hospitals on high alert, in case more dengue cases are reported at government hospitals. At least one hundred cases have been reported so far this year.
