In an unusual development, a business partner was robbed by his counterparts who tied him up and rode away after dumping the victim in the washroom.
The incident occurred in the precincts of Ratta Amral police station on Monday.
Haris Ahmed told the police that he established a business partnership worth Rs1.05 million with his old school classmate Muhammad Aslam.
As he demanded monthly profit, the complainant added that Ahmed asked him to reach Chakk Madad to receive his share worth Rs43,000. Ahmed met Aslam at the destination. The suspect took him to the corridor of a nearby hostel to handover money.
However, two unidentified suspects were already present there ambushed and Aslam joined them too. They covered up Ahmed’s mouth so that he could not scream for help and tied him up with a rope. The suspects dumped Ahmed in the washroom and rode away on the victim’s bike. Ahmed told the police that he untied himself with great efforts and escaped.
