An anti-terrorism court (ATC) extended the physical remand of the five policemen arrested in the Osama Satti murder case on Wednesday.
The five suspects were presented before the court of Judge Raja Jawad Abbas. The investigation officer (IO) pleaded with the court to extend physical remand by five days.
He said that the suspects had confessed to killing Satti and their testimonies were to be recorded. Owing to this, their custody is required until the joint investigation team (JIT) finished off its work, he added.
The court accepted the plea and granted a five-day extension in the suspects’ physical remand.
