Bollywood sensation Priyanka Chopra was just seen visiting a salon in London on Wednesday evening, violating UK’s Covid-19 rules. Strict coronavirus restrictions are being implemented across the country to prevent the spread of the virus. Hindustan Times reported that Chopra was seen entering a salon despite of knowing ‘personal care services’ like salons and spas have been told strictly to close completely.
According to a report, she arrived at the salon accompanied by her mother Dr Madhu Chopra and pet dog Diana. Her stylist Josh Woods was also present alongside the star. The police was alerted immediately about the breach and reached the salon. The salon service was given a reminder but no fine was imposed.
Metro UK quoted a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police as saying, “Police were alerted at around 17:40 hrs on Wednesday, January 6, of reports of a Covid breach taking place within a hairdressers on Lansdowne Mews, Notting Hill. Officers attended and the owner of the salon was given a verbal reminder of the important need to comply with all regulations regarding Covid-19 and signposted to other sources of advice. No fixed penalty notices were issued.”
