Stock exchanges: Engro Foods to start trading today

Engro Foods has been given the symbol “EFOODS” and will be quoted under the food and personal care products sector

LAHORE: Engro Foods’ stock will formally start trading (Wednesday) today at the Karachi and Lahore Stock Exchange for Rs25 per share as the initial price. The company’s stock price may rise or fall Rs5 or 50% of the opening price whichever is higher on the first day of trading while normal upper and lower trading limits will be applicable from the second day. Engro Foods has been given the symbol “EFOODS” and will be quoted under the food and personal care products sector of the Exchange. With listing of Engro Foods, the total number of listed companies will increase to 497 at LSE.
