Bose releases wireless Sport Open Earbuds

Bose kicks off 2021 by unveiling its much-awaited wireless Sport Open Earbuds. Most of the earbuds out in the market sit inside the ear canal but Sport Open Earbuds are designed to follow the natural curve of your ear, reports Engadget.

The earbuds are intended for sports hence they are equipped with an IPX4 water-resistant rating, relatively lightweight 14 gram per bud weight and eight hours of battery life.

Further, the earbuds have an industrial-grade thermoplastic exterior and a matte finish in order to provide additional grip so that each earbud is secure no matter how much you move.

Bose has added a specially designed acoustic mesh that keeps water and debris out. The earbuds don’t have active noise cancellation which means you will be able to hear others while training or traffic noise.

Other features include Bluetooth 5.1, which lets you make and decline calls, skip songs and as well as access your voice assistant.

Sport Open Earbuds are now available for pre-order at $200 and will start rolling out the device in mid-January with a protective carrying case, charging base, and the Bose Music app.
