Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 139 runs after setting a score of 386 runs, their highest score ever, in their last match of the Asia Cup 2010 at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium on Monday.
Pakistans highest ODI total came after Shahid Afridi's blistering 124 off 60 balls, while three other batsmen including Imran Farhat, Shahzaib Hasan and Umar Akmal were able to score half centuries.
The highest scorer for the Bangladesh side was Junaid Siddiqui who was caught and bowled by Shoaib Akhtar just three runs short of a century, followed by Imrul Kayes who made 66 runs.
Bangladeshi bowler Shafiul Islam took three wickets followed by Shakibul Hasan who managed to get two out. For Pakistan Akhtar, Asif, Afridi and Farhat managed to take one wicket each.
Pakistan had won the toss and elected to bat first. Pakistan and Bangladesh are already out of the Asia Cup tournament after suffering defeats from Sri Lanka and India.
