Police catch suspect in jewellery shop heist

Kohsar police registered a case on the complaint of Sheikh Muhammad Fareed

ISLAMABAD:

The Kohsar police and Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) have recovered 50 tola gold, Rs1.28 million cash and weapons from a suspect allegedly involved in a robbery at jewellery shop in Super Market.

According to a statement, unidentified people had robbed Rs4 million cash and 400 tolas of gold from Honey Jewellers situated in Super Market, in Sector F-6 on November 23.

Following the incident, Kohsar police registered a case on the complaint of Sheikh Muhammad Fareed, owner of the shop. Kohsar Police Station SHO Asjad Mehmud and Sub-Inspector Kamal Khan and others arrested two people identified as Sadaqat Shah and Adeel.
