Pindi police nab seven criminals

The police will continue their operations against criminal elements

RAWALPINDI:

The Rawalpindi Police rounded up seven accused from different areas and recovered weapons and ammunition from their possession, a police spokesperson shared on Thursday.

He said that the Naseerabad, Banni, RA Bazaar, Civil Line, Airport and Pirwadhai police stations had cracked down against the possession of unlicensed weapons and arrested seven suspects. They were identified as Zaryab, Jannat Gul, Muhammad Irfan, Amir Hussain, Ijaz Qureshi, Muhammad Maskeen and Ahmed Shah. Police teams also recovered five 30 bore pistols, two Kalashnikov with ammunition from their possession.

He said that the police are conducting operations against law violators regularly on the directives of City Police Officer Ahsan Younas. The police will continue their operations against criminal elements, he added.
