In pictures: Naimal Khawar's scarlet velvet outfit fits the bill for winter weddings

Naimal Khawar Abbasi is an icon when it comes to festive desi wear. Over the past few days, the former actor has been serving one stunning look after the other at her younger sister Fiza’s wedding. In fact, it seems like a flair for fashion runs in the Khawar family as the bride also looked doll-like up in a mint green tailored dress by Elan, with a traditional teeka complimenting her minimalistic look.

The Verna star, on the other hand, stunned in a flowy detailed pishwas lehenga made of maroon velvet. The dress featured traditional sequins, patterns and embellishments. Naimal paired the Mohsin Naveed Ranjha creation with soft evening makeup.

Previously, the starlet was seen in a mustard colour draped sari embossed with floras and paisleys, an avant-garde piece for a winter evening event. Soon after, she sported a traditional SFK Bridals piece for Fiza’s dholki that she paired with a similar style as from the mehndi.

Both the actor and bride have been Instagram favourites ever since the pictures of the wedding events hit social media. Earlier this year, Fiza’s nikkah photos took internet by storm, wherein she was seen wearing a flowy ethereal ivory number from designer Faiza Saqlain.
