Chinese envoy appreciates Pakistani staff working on CPEC projects

Says the corridor will bring employment, prosperity and improve Pakistan's economy

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong on Tuesday appreciated the contributions made by Pakistani and Chinese staff working on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.

In a series of tweets, the Chinese envoy lauded the remarks made by the representatives of the Pakistani staff at the Awarding Ceremony for Outstanding Pakistani Staff of CPEC projects.

"Impressed by the remarks delivered by representatives of outstanding Pakistani staff of CPEC projects," he wrote.

The Chinese envoy thanked CPEC Chairman Asim Saleem Bajwa for attending the ceremony. Repeating the words of Bajwa, he said the corridor will bring employment and prosperity and improve the social economy of Pakistan.

"We are ready to further promote CPEC cooperation."

Moreover, the Chinese ambassador maintained that China and Pakistan have overcome the difficulties caused by Covid-19 and the key project of the Belt and Road Initiative has made "new headways".
