Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar resigned on Saturday from his position of spokesperson to Pakistan Peoples Party chairman.
The PPP leader took to microblogging website Twitter to clarify that he had not resigned from the party but had only stepped back from his position as the spokesperson for the party chairman.
I have resigned from the position of spokesperson to the chairman, not from #PPP. Will stand by BBZ through thick and thin. In my years as his spokesperson, have given counsel with honesty, sincerity and in the best interests of the country and the party.

He further stated that he will stand by Bilawal and the party.
“In my years as his spokesperson, have given counsel with honesty, sincerity and in the best interests of the country and the party,” he added.
Also sincere apologies to friends in party, media and otherwise who were concerned and couldn’t take their calls or reply to their messages. Needed time to think over things. 🙏
