Prime Minister Imran Khan has just shared photographs with Bollywood actor Amir Khan from 16 years ago.

To mark the day the actor paid a visit to the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital, the PM wrote alongside the image, "16 years ago. Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital visit by Amir Khan."

Amir had visited Lahore to help raise funds for the hospital back in 2004 after being extended an invite by Imran Khan, who is the chairman of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.

The Dangal actor has been quite a fan of the PM, judging by his appreciation of the latter in 2012. Amir had lauded Imran Khan's efforts for the betterment of the country. He had also claimed that he would visit Pakistan if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf wins the election.

The actor, however, hasn't been able to fulfill that promise since Imran Khan made it to the office back in 2018.
