LAHORE: Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa has urged all political leaders, including the Sharif brothers, to develop a consensus over Seraiki province via consultations, an official handout said on Monday. Talking to the media at the residence of Pakistan Hockey Federation President Qasim Zia after offering condolences over the death of his sister, the governor said that money was extravagantly being spent on flyovers in Lahore, while depriving the entire agricultural belt in southern Punjab, frustrating the people in Rajanpur, Layyah and other districts of the Seraiki belt. Khosa said the province’s rulers should also visit the city’s low-lying areas where people were facing immense problems.
