Boat Brigade: 8 police boats for riverine operation

MUZAFFARGARH: The Punjab government has provided eight powerful boats to the police to launch a grand operation against criminal gangs hiding out in the riverine areas. According to the District Police Official (DPO) Rao Munir Ahmad Zia, all necessary arrangements have been finalised for a grand operation against criminals and those offering them shelter. The DPO said that practical steps were being  to change ‘Thana culture’ in the light of instructions from the IGP Punjab.
