Intermediate part II students of the commerce and arts groups who are dissatisfied with the marks awarded to them under the promotion policy of the Sindh education department, given that board examinations were cancelled this year due to the coronavirus, will have the option to sit for a 'reexamination' and are to submit their forms by December 7, 2020.

According to a notification issued by Board of Intermediate Education Karachi on Tuesday, reexamination will be held for all such students who had registered for the annual examination 2020.

The candidates can submit examination forms along with an affidavit of Rs50, attested by the oath commissioner by December 7, 2020. The examination forms of regular candidates should be attested by the relevant college principal and the forms of private candidates can be attested by any Grade 17 government official. Sample affidavit, fee voucher and examination forms can be downloaded from the BIEK website.

The reexamination will, however, be subject to governmental policy regarding the coronavirus, according to the notification.
