Pakistan secured $200m business

Pakistan has secured more than $200 million worth of business in a year since the 35th IAF Fashion Convention was held in November 2019 in Lahore, said Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association Central Chairman Sohail Sheikh. Addressing a ceremony to mark the anniversary of the global summit, Sheikh said that the activity was arranged to keep Pakistan’s contact with over 250 foreign delegates while providing international enterprises a platform to interact with local garment entrepreneurs and place orders during the current difficult time. In addition to the $200-million worth of business secured, he added that further trade negotiation were underway.
