PM to announce southern Balochistan uplift package today
Prime Minister Imran Khan will be announcing a comprehensive development package for Southern Balochistan today during his visit to Turbat.
Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal confirmed the aforementioned development in a tweet on Thursday. “The government of Balochistan, Pakistan army and the federal government initiated a long deliberation to make a comprehensive development package for Balochistan which will be announced tomorrow in Turbat,” he said.
The premier will be accompanied with federal ministers, parliamentarians, senators and Balochistan lawmakers.
CM Kamal added that the premier’s visit to Kech and Turbat will be historic. He disclosed that a 250 million rupees drainage and sewerage system project has also been approved. “Development work on the said project will be started very soon by project director new town housing scheme.”
The provincial chief executive will also inaugurate the “Sunset Point” at Shaheed Commissioner Captain Tariq Zahri Gwadar Housing scheme.
On the other hand, district administration of Gwadar has decorated different points of Gwadar city and the highway with banners and billboards welcoming the prime minister.
The banners have been placed in Balochi and Urdu language. People belonging to all three districts of Mekran division including Panjgur, Kech and Gwadar are very enthusiastic and passionate to welcome PM Imran.
Federal Minister for defense production Zubaida Jalal, provincial minister for Finance Balochistan Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, and other leaders have reached their constituencies to observe the arrangements made to receive the premier.
