Five Covid-19 deaths reported at Nishtar Hospital

MULTAN:

Five more patients including three women succumbed to Covid-19 at Multan Nishtar Hopsital in the last 24 hours. The total number of virus deaths at said hospital had reached 195 since March this year. Nishtar Hospital’s Focal person for Infectious Diseases Dr Irfan Arshad said Nadeem, 52, Jabir Ali, 69, Shamim Akhtar, 65, Sirda and Rabia Bibi, 30, passed away due to the virus at the ICU of Nishtar Hospital. Nadeen, Jabir, Shamim and Rabia hailed from Multan while Sidra belonged to Toba Tek Singh, he added. As many as 63 patients were Covid-19 positive and 28 were suspected out of the total 123 cases, he concluded.
