Valuables were gutted in two incidents of fire in shops in different parts of the provincial metropolis on Saturday.

The first case was reported in a shop in Jahangir Park Ghazi road near Punjab Bank. The other case was reported in Rana Liaqat Chowk near Imran Sweet Bakers, China scheme.

Nearby people tried to extinguish fire. On failure, they called Rescue 1122 teams. Fire fighters reached the spot on information and extinguished fire. No loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents. Meanwhile, a van caught fire near Faizpur Interchange.

According to details, the passengers were riding the van and going somewhere. Near Faizpur Intechange, the van caught fire. Nearby people called Rescue 1122.
