MIS training workshop held

The department was being made a source of change at the grassroots level

Under the directions of Local Government and Community Development (LGCD) Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Tahir Khurshid, a training workshop on the Annual Development Programme (ADP) Management Information System was held in Sargodha.

The one-day workshop was attended by more than 200 LG officials from Sargodha, Khushab, Bhakkar and Mianwali, said a statement issued on Saturday. MIS Manager Mohammad Adnan, Project Director Rizwan Sarfraz, Project Coordinator Arsalan Aziz and PITB officers gave lectures to the participants. Meanwhile, the ACS said that the department was striving to make local government offices paperless through digitisation.

He further said the department was being made a source of change at the grassroots level.
