The six-year-old girl who went missing from Surjani Town on Monday night was found on Tuesday.
According to the Surjani Town Police, the girl’s father, Muhammad Fahim, told them that he had received a call around 9.30pm on Monday at work and was informed that his daughter had been abducted.
“Upon reaching home, I learnt that my daughters, Urwah, and Hoorain had left for a nearby shop,” he said, adding that while Hoorain had returned, Urwah hadn’t. He said Hoorain told him that they were stopped by a man clothed in a pair of pants and a shirt and wearing a cap on the way back.
A case for Urwah’s abduction was registered under sections of the Pakistan Penal Code pertaining to kidnapping for ransom.
However, later on Tuesday, an unidentified man, on a motorcycle, left Urwa some distance away from her house.
