Sistan and Baluchistan Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs Mandana Zangane said Pakistan and Iran have agreed to form committees to further enhance cooperation in barter trade and transport. “Improved trade relations between the two countries are in the interest of both sides as they guarantee economic prosperity of the neighbouring countries,” said Zangane during the eighth annual meeting of the Pak-Iran Joint Border Trade committee in Quetta. The deputy governor maintained it was necessary to overcome difficulties in the bilateral trade to achieve goals set by the two countries. The attendees of the meeting included Iranian Consul General Hassan Darwish, Customs Appraisal Collector Waheed Khan Marwat, Pakistani Consul General in Zahedan Mohammad Rafi, officials of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and others.
